Pee-pee in the potty!

On Monday Allie decided that she is ready to get rid of diapers and pull-ups and only go in the potty!! She knows when she has to go, says "pee-pee potty" runs over to her potty, pulls down her pants and goes pee in the potty!! She is so proud of herself when she is done with a big-huge smile on her face and claps her hands. I am so happy that she is doing this, that we didn't have to force anything and that she just decided that she is ready. She pooped on the potty on Monday for Joe, but I haven't seen #2 yet. Now, it will get interesting this weekend when we go camping and anytime we are out in public, but that is just part of the process, right?! So hoooray for Allie and good luck to Mommy and Daddy!

Allie turns 2!!!

We had a really fun birthday weekend for Allie! Grammie flew out from Atlanta, Grandma flew in from Chicago and Auntie Roro flew in from Costa Rica!! We had a great time with all the ladies of the family, but Joe really missed the guys! Thankfully there were plenty of guys at Allie's birthday barbeque. The weather held out for us, it was a little chilly, but nice enough that we could be out in the driveway playing with all of Allie's new toys and bikes!! It was a crazy and fun time watching all the 2 year-olds run around and play and all the adults catching up and eating some yummy food!!
