Happy 2 month Birthday Emma! Emma is an eating growing chunk of a baby... Weight 12 pounds 6 ounces, length 23.5 inches, and head circumfrence 14.5 inches. 90th percentile for everything!!! She is a very happy baby and her smiles will melt your heart!! We even got her to laugh the other day :-)
Things are going well here, busy for sure, but we are settling into a routine. Emma is sleeping through the night, from about 10pm until 6am, and it's amazing how much better we are all doing after getting a full night's sleep :-) We have kept busy in the last 2.5 months!! We have had all of our family out for visits!! Grandma (Joe's mom) was here for Emma's birth, then IE (my mom) came for a week, then Uncle Garrett for a weekend, then Auntie Roro for 2 weeks! Also, while Roro was here, Grandpa and Cici came for a week and we all made the trip up to Breckenridge for a quick ski trip!! Then I decided to try something crazy and take the girls to Florida to visit IE and Gpa!! We had a great time and I will have pictures of that soon!!
Allie is really such a great big sister! She loves to hold Emma and give her kisses, but gets really grossed out when Emma spits up on her. Emma is a "happy spitter"!! She will smile, spit up and then smile again. We have bought a ton of bibs and probably go through about 6 bibs a day and maybe 3 outfits a day when the bibs don't catch everything! I am ready for the spit-up phase to be over!!!!! Allie is really enjoying that Emma is starting to interact more with big smiles and playing with her play mat toys and rattle. Allie knows that when Emma is sleeping, she is growing bigger so Emma can play with Allie and her toys :-)
We are enjoying these last few weeks of my maternity leave and then I will be heading back to work the week of Valentines Day!! thankfully I only work 2 days a week, but they are long days! Enjoy this slide show of our last few months!
