The Red Sox came to Denver for a game against the Rockies. As we all know the Red Sox are the best team in major league baseball, and the Rockies are one of the newer teams that struggle from time to time. But they game Boston a run for their money winning 2 out of the 3 games. But lucky us, we were there for the 3rd game and the Red Sox win! It was such a great experience for Allie to be at the hometown stadium but also be able to see my home-town team. She loved clapping and dancing to the music and even noticed when one of the outfielders dove to get the ball! She said, "uh-oh Daddy man fall down!" We had a blast and despite it being one of the longer games, and having to leave in the 7th inning we will be returning again!!

Mother's Day Video
We had perfect weather for Mother's Day here in Colorado, it was sunny and in the high 70's. So we spent the morning eating out for a yummy brunch and then spent the early afternoon lounging outside. Allie played in her sand table, Daddy played with his new phone and I soaked up the sun! Allie loves her new sand table and asks to play with it everyday!! (A big thanks to Grandma, Great-Grandma, and Auntie Roro!!)

Camping Memorial Day Weekend
Our neighbors down the street like to go camping also and we found a time to be able to go together. I had to work the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend so Nate and Jen went up ahead of us on Saturday afternoon to get a spot for us and we joined them bright and early Sunday morning. After last year's camping fiasco of tent camping in the rain with a miserable, no-sleeping 15 month old, we decided that one night would be enough for the first camping of this season. And it worked out perfectly, we actually decided that for the amount of effort and energy that it takes to camp for one night, it's really worth it to camp for 2+nights!
Nate and Jen have a 4-wheeler and have camped in this area before because off road vehicles are allowed. It is actually right across from Winter Park ski resort! They usually camp here a little later in the summer and are able to camp up higher, but since the end of May is really early in the camping season there was still snow on the ground where they usually go. We didn't care though! The site they chose was beautiful, quiet and perfect for us! It was a gorgeous weekend weather wise, 60-70 during the day and 30's at night! We kept warm by the campfire once the sun went down and then used a tent heater in our tent and layered Allie in 5 layers of clothes then put a wool blanket over her. Joe and I slept on our air mattress with 2 comforters under us and 4 comforters on top! We were plenty warm and cozy. Allie did really well this time. She loves to be outside, she was really comfortable sleeping in her pack and play, and didn't freak-out or get scared when we left her in the tent alone at bed time!!
We spent our down time, chatting, snacking, and taking turns riding on the 4-wheeler! What a fun toy, Joe and I are thinking of getting one for our camping and hunting enjoyment! We love tent camping, but are planning on getting a pop-up so we can enjoy the outdoors even more, and so that I can camp this summer without falling into the tent and struggling to get out :-)
(once again blogger won't let me upload all the camping pictures!! They are on Facebook for those that want to see them)

Preggo pics
This time around we are going to to my monthly pregnancy pictures outside in front of our garden to show how big I am growing along with our garden! Cheezy, but kind of cute too :-) We were hoping we could get Allie to hold the number sign and I could "hold" my belly, but Allie didn't quite get the idea of holding the sign, sitting still, looking at the camera and smiling! That's a lot to ask a 2 year old so we had to improvise. These pictures are a little behind, they were taken on May 20th when I was 13 weeks pregnant, but I hope to be more prompt with the remaining pictures!
In our garden we are growing: tomatoes, cucumbers, artichokes, radishes, brussel sprouts, snap peas, green beans, corn, sweet and hot peppers, carrots, spinach and cabbage. So far everything but the carrots, spinach and cabbage are doing well. They were planted from last years seed packs, so we need to get some seeds from 2010 and replant. This is the biggest our garden has ever been so we will see how we do with all of the garden fresh goodies!!

First try, Allie walks away to show Daddy the number
All smiles, but no garden
Full shot of the garden, but Allie was distracted by a birdie!
