Hiking Day

On Sunday Joe, Robin, Allie, Molly and I went for a 7 mile hike up to the continental divide near the Moffat Tunnel outside of Boulder/Nederland, CO. It was a beautiful hike on a perfect day and we enjoyed the view all the way up. It was a moderate hike and we quickly realized that we are all out of shape! But that just means we have to do more hiking. Allie was great on the hike, she enjoyed being in her backpack carrier as long as we were moving. Whenever we stopped she thought she should have a snack or get out and walk on her own. Once we got to the top we had a snack, rested our legs, let Molly swim in the lake and let Allie run around a little. Then it was time to head back down, grab some dinner and then get home and go to bed!!!
